Counselling
Before the courtroom, the conversation.
Counselling has been among the practice’s services since 2001 — measured, private guidance on a dispute before, during or sometimes instead of litigation.
Not every dispute belongs in a courtroom. The practice provides professional legal counselling and dispute-resolution guidance: an assessment of the record, the honest position on strengths and weaknesses, and the paths open — negotiation, settlement, mediation or litigation — with their costs in time and money stated plainly.
Counselling is available in particular for matrimonial and family-related disputes — divorce, maintenance, custody and connected proceedings — where a considered, private conversation is often the first and most important step. It extends equally to consumer grievances, service and employment matters, and property and documentation questions within the practice’s areas of work.
Counselling is conducted at the office, by appointment, and in confidence. It is a professional engagement — nothing on this website, and no enquiry through it, constitutes legal advice or creates an advocate–client relationship.
