Ramachandar Desu is the founder of Tenaliramaadvocate Associates, a law practice at Yelahanka, Bengaluru. He was enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council in 2001 (Reg. No. KAR/235/01), is a permanent member of The Advocates’ Association, Bengaluru, and appears before the High Court of Karnataka, tribunals and the district courts.

He came to the Bar after twenty years in the Indian Air Force (1981–2001), where he earned an engineering-equivalent qualification in electronics and communications and served on deputation to its Legal Cell — a career that still shapes the practice’s substantial work for serving and retired defence personnel.
